Chewy's Weekend Wrap Up: Talking Triple H/Taker, 3-3-11, Wrestlemania,TNA, Misticio, and Much More!

Well it's been another fun filled week on the wrestling front! Let's get to the weekend wrap up shall we?

This week WWE revealed 2-21-11 to be what we already knew, the return of the dead man, But it was also the return of Triple H!

Today WWE announced Triple H V.S. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania!

I liked the set up for this neither superstar said one word nor did they have to, the crowd went nuts for each superstar.

TNA see's WWE does a 2-21-11 video so what do they do? They copy the exact same video promoting the return of Sting. I think WWE is trying to shove it in WWE's face that they signed Sting, but really does Vince give a shit? Chances are no.

TNA use to be this thing i call WRESTLING yes WRESTLING they opened every PPV saying "TNA We Are Wrestling" Now they are nothing more then WWE wannabees. They have been since Hogan and Bischoff came in.

The 3-3-11 video really pissed me off, we all knew Sting was coming back it's not a surprise TNA. So to try and stick it to WWE didn't work. If anything WWE stuck it to you more when they fucked your "they" storyline and you bastards know it.

I want TNA to be a success but they need to do something DIFFERENT from WWE, they need to not worry about WWE. Right now they are just another Sports Entertainment company, while they use to be a WRESTLING company.

WWE announced the signing of Mexican superstar Mistico who's new name is Sin Cara. I think this is a GREAT move by WWE to make such a huge deal about this. They get GREAT ratings in Mexico and I think another Mexican star will help.

We have a highlight video of him on our Facebook page I highly suggest you go check it out.

WWE seems to be setting up Mysterio VS Cody Rhodes for mania, I liked the extreme Cody went to on Smackdown! last night.

If Alberto Del Rio does NOT win the World Title I'll be more surprised, I think Del Rio will go on to win and the World Title and have a longer reign the most TNA champions do.

Getting back to Mistico I really hope WWE does a feud with him and Rey Mysterio, I think those two could tear down the house. The way WWE promoted signing him I don't see him going to FCW at all.

Next week is TNA's on the road impact debut, I'm looking forward to it, not just because Sting returns but because I think the crowd will be more alive then they have been in the "dead-zone"

I'm already looking forward to next week's weekend wrap up after impact air, I'd say more but I don't wanna spoil to much.

Don't forget to join us on Monday at 2pm as Aria challenges me to the Shotgun Wrestling Radio Trivia Championship! Plus all three of us have a lot to say about TNA's um response to WWE and their 2-21-11 video! So join us at 2pm on shoetalk.com!

Chewy's Weekend Wrap up: Talking The Rock, Dolph Ziggler, Elemination Chamber, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy and Much More!

WOW What a week it's been in the world of Wrestling! Let's get right to the weekend wrap up shall we?

The Rock made a HUGE surprise return on Monday night and cut one of the BEST promos we've seen in YEARS!

The Rock posted a picture of himself in the ring earlier in the day on his facebook teasing a potential return about an hour after Shotgun Wrestling Radio went off air.

Nice job by WWE on not editing The Great One and just letting him go! The fans hung on The Rock's everyword and it was GREAT!

Dolph Ziggler is claiming he is the new World Champion.....I can't say I don't like the move but they do need to start pushing their younger guys on the Smackdown brand.

Edge has been hinting that his time in wrestling could becoming close to an end, and it may be a good time to let Dolph have the title.

Remember Jack Swagger? Yeah he was a World Champion once......seems they dropped the ball on that guy.

Daniel Bryan and Miz tore it up on Monday Night. Daniel Bryan has the ability to make anyone look good in the ring and that is a true talent in itself. I hope someday WWE will give Bryan a shot and win the WWE title.

Eve is beginning to win me over as of late, call me crazy I know but her and Natalya had a pretty good match on Monday night .

Elimination Chamber had some good hype going into it, although I think it's safe to say many of us are more excited for Wrestlemania. Don't forget our Elimination Chamber picks will be up tomorrow.

Why does TNA start off EVERY week with fucking Eric Bischoff in the middle of the ring?! For once I'd like to see WRESTLING to kick off the show!

The Jeff Jarrett/Karen Jarrett stuff made me want to PUKE this week. I'm slowly loosing interest in this feud. The finish to their match at against all odds sucked to.

Another one I can't stand is Bully Ray, I was hoping Tazz would choke him out when he was yelling at him.

The knockouts had a decent tag team match this week, their division is starting to get better.

AJ and Matt Hardy put on a decent show, The crowd had NO reaction to Flair costing AJ the match though.

RVD and Jeff Hardy had a good match as well, nothing GREAT but good.

I still can't believe those bastards put the belt back on Hardy.......

I hope you guys join Me, Ziggy and Aria on Monday as we talk about all that has happened this week as well as our reactions to The Rock's surprise return on shoetalk.com at 2pm central time!

Chewy's Weekend Wrap Up: Talking Wrestlemania, Angle/Jarrett, Y2J and Much More!

It's time for another edition of the weekend wrap up.

We are on the Road To Wrestlemania!

So far elimination chamber is shaping up nicely with a nice build around it.

Can't say i'm excited about The King V.S Miz for the title, but the Elimination Chamber matches are usually always good.

I know WWE is trying to build Alberto Del Rio pretty strongly, but why have him on both shows? Last i knew he was on the Smackdown! roster.

WWE got lucky this week with both Raw and Smackdown! being in Wisconsin right after Green Bay won the Super Bowl. The Clay Matthews guest ref spot on Smackdown! was a nice touch.

We should start seeing weekly hall of fame spots starting Monday leading up until Mania. I always like watching these and can't wait to see who else gets inducted, i think Lex Lugar is a lock i also wouldn't doubt a couple of the former four horse men either.

2-21-11 has been all but confirmed that it IS indeed the return of The Undertaker, I know this will piss a lot of fans off but what can ya do?

I wouldn't be surprised to see HHH return that night as well to set up their Mania match.

I received Y2J's book last week early through pre-order, and i can say it is a MUST read for any Y2J fan. You learn about both the Music business and Wrestling business and Y2J has massive balls! The way he's stood up to Vince takes some balls to do.

iMpact this week had WAY to much Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett for one show.

Just once could we start iMpact without Eric Bischoff? Would that be to much to ask for?

I'm interested to see how the Last Knockout Standing match comes across, i think Mickie and Madision Rayne can pull off a good match.

I'm also interested in Jarret/Angle match, I think these two could steal the show, they've done enough build up for it we should have a 10 minuet video package right?

Fat Hardy VS RVD..........can't say i'm excited about this.

We will have our picks tomorrow on the blog, so stay tuned for that.

Here's an open letter to TNA......Dear TNA PLEASE keep the belt on Anderson! if Jeff Hardy wins the belt back I just may lose hope in you guys all together. Hardy IMO does NOT deserve the belt! Anderson can lead the company as a great face champion. I see more dedication from Anderson then I do Hardy, I feel Hardy is more or less just there for a pay day. So please TNA do yourself a favor and keep the belt on Anderson.

That'll do it for this weeks edition of the weekend wrap up. Stay tuned tomorrow for our TNA Against All Odds Picks!

Chewy's Weekend Wrap Up: Talking "they" The Royal Rumble Aftermath, Booker T, Kevin Nash and Much More!

What's up everybody it's time for another edition of the weekend wrap up.

The Royal Rumble in my eyes was a great ppv. I thought the match itself was pretty good and entertaining.

Both Nash and Booker got HUGE reactions during the Rumble, I think most fans had wanted them to go on further. I know I had them in my final four.

John Morrison is a beast! He could really be the human spiderman!

I like how they're pushing Jerry Lawler, he has really become a crowd favorite over the last few years. I'm interested to see how his match with The Miz goes at Elimination Chamber.

The Michael Cole Storyline should be heating up here in the next few weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if they try and do a match with Cole and The King at Mania.

WWE started running a promo for 2-21-11 which are leading many to believe it could lead to the debut of Sting. I would LOVE for this to be Sting and to see him get into the Hall of Fame.

Booker T is now the new head trainer for the new Tough Enough, smart move on WWE's part as Booker has had his own school i Texas for a few years now.

Alberto Del Rio won the Royal Rumble, I had been saying that he would for a very long time but at last minuet changed my mine. In my opinion Del Rio will win the World title from Edge at Mania and be a GREAT heel champion.

Many people were expecting Awesome Kong to debut at the Rumble, it's a shame she didn't but I have a feeling when she does she will make an impact right away.

TNA got the big FU from WWE this past week weather they want to admit it or not. Nash and Booker were supposed to be "They" this past week and TNA knows it.

With that said I think TNA made a GREAT move to break fortune away from immortal. I'm a HUGE AJ Styles fan and I'm happy to see him and Beer Money and Kaz break away from them. Nice last minuet planning on TNA's part.

But note to TNA: Next time you do a storyline make sure the guys you have planned are under contract! This could of worked out very bad for TNA but in the end it's what's best for the company.

After watching this weeks impact I'm ready to see TNA take it on the road. The crowd does not seem as hot as it once was. I think bringing it on the road will help TNA and hopefully they do more.

Whenever I see Bischoff in the middle of the ring with 10 guys around him talking gibberish all I think of us the NWO....and that's what I thought on Thursday. But it was indeed a good opener.

I've lost complete interest in Ink Ink, to me they just don't jel very well together.

I like seeing TNA put more work into their X-Division, hopefully they keep that up.

Hopefully TNA give Anderson a nice long title run. He deserves it more then Hardy in my opinion.

Don't forget we will NOT be on Blogtalk Radio anymore! We will be on talkshoe.com this coming Monday!
