Our first WWE NXT Rankings

Whats up everyone! Were back with a brand new blog this time we are talking about NXT Season 2 ranking! The first WWE pros/WWE Universe rankings will come out this tuesday on Syfy. So far this class seems to be a lot better then the first class they had so here goes with our rankings!!

Chewy's Rankings
1. Alex Riley - Guy is great in the ring and is a really good mic talker i think he has a lot looking up for him. I'm really surprised him and The Miz haven't butted heads yet. Plus the guy is undefeated.

2. Kaval - I've been a pretty big Kaval fan since his days in TNA, I know what he's capable of. He's getting really good on the mic as well and has had a couple really solid matches! I think he will be this seasons Bryan Danielson. The only thing hurting him is his "pros."

3. Michael McGillicutty - This guy defiantly has a good look to him, and he is the son of Mr.Perfect so wrestling is in his blood. He has good mic work and his in ring ability is pretty good to.

4. Percy Watson - This guy is a character if there ever was one! I love the energy he brings to the table and having MVP as his pro defiantly helps him out. His mic work is pretty funny and he was pretty good in the ring. He seems to me to be the type of guy you can get the kids to cheer for.

5. Luck Cannon - This guy is very excited, but i wish they would drop the lucky gimmick with him. He has a good look and good size. WWE could really do something with him.

6. Eli Cottonwood - This guy is a monster! To me he could become the next Kane! He is 2-0 right now but i think his mic work needs some work. WWE loves these big dudes and he is 7 foot tall. I think after NXT if he doesn't win you could re-package him and have him come in as a huge monster like they did with Kane.

7. Husy Harris - This guy has a very interesting look to him. I didn't think his ring skills were that bad and he sure did make a statement last week by attacking Matt Stryker.

8. Titus O'Neal - Here's another big guy whos very athletic but already has a 0-2 record working against him.

Ziggy's Picks
1. Alex Riley
2. Michael McGillicutty
3. Kaval
4. Percy Watson
5. Husky Harris
6. Lucky Cannon
7. Eli Cottonwood
8. Titus O'Neil

Did Raw just start to get exciting again!?

WOW that raw was VERY solid. WWE has done a GREAT job with raw the last few weeks! It's giving me a huge spark to be very interested in monday night raw again and not watch it just because I feel like I have to for our radio show.

No guest host tonight did nothing but help WWE in my opinion, we didn't have any stupid skits to help promote some show or some movie.

Did anyone else think Jericho and Bourne could steal the show two nights in a row? Holy hell batman these two put on a great match and Evan Bourne is AMAZING! I love seeing the smaller guys get the push!

Just when we thought WWE was gunna kill off the NXT angle with them apologizing for their recent actions they come out again and disrupt a main event. The one thing i find interesting though is when they were in the ring apologizing Cole and King stayed put yet when they came out at the end they left...Vince gets in the ring and acts like he's revealing himself as the mastermind behind all the NXT attacks until the big stare down the NXT guys gave him, which then lead to a beat down of Vince.

I didn't see this beat down coming really, but i thought it was great! Not only could it write Vince off TV for the one millionth time but, it could set him up to come back with a nice revenge plot and it proved he can take a beating.

As far as the new mystery gm goes i think the obvious pick would be Daniel Bryan so it would set up for his return if they can run with this storyline long enough it would be the perfect set up for Bryan's return to WWE.

Overall another very solid Raw from WWE. They are defiantly keeping me interested.

Who'the leader of the NXT Invasion?

What's up everybody? Hope you all had a wonderful father's day weekend. I'm back with another blog this time talking more about the NXT invasion.

Last night's WWE Fatal Four Way PPV was probably the shortest PPV since the December to Dismember or Disremember PPV as most people referrer to it as. The show was only 2 hrs and 35 min as apposed to 2hrs and 45 min. Now i felt WWE could of done more with the NXT guys last night, also i hope WWE management was listening to the Daniel Bryan chant the crowd gave throughout the night. Anway back on topic who is the leader of the NXT invasion? Most people would say Wade Barrett but i have a few options.

Michael Cole - Anyone else find it odd how Cole has been getting away from the NXT season 1 graduates? Something is not adding up with this guy, i would not be surprised if he is actually the leader of this group.

Chris Jericho - Jericho has been on a bit of a loosing streak lately, and has anyone else noticed he hasn't come out with the rest of the locker room to help save John Cena?

Triple H - Yes we all know Triple H is off filming a movie right now and recovering from some injuries, but it would not surprise me one bit for him to come back as the leader of this group which would lead to his heal turn.

Mr.McMahon - We all know Vince love being the evil boss and if he wants to be back on TV this would be a great way to do it, everything the NXT guys are doing right now is pure Ruthless Agression.

Alright those are my top picks, who do you guys think it is?

WWE Fatal Four Way Predictions

What's up everybody? Were back with our WWE Fatal Four Way PPV predictions which is tommorw night. As of right now there are not that many matches announced for this PPV so we will just go with what is announced, if any get added last minuet we will add them tommorw.

Eve V.S. Gail Kim V.S. Maryse V.S. Alicia Fox for the Divas championship- This match really could go either way here I'd really like to see Gail Kim win but i think Maryse is gunna walk away the new Diva's champion.

R-Truth V.S. The Miz(c) for the US Title- This match i think could open up the PPV The Miz just won the title back on monday and they trying to put some meaning back into the title it seems which is good, I think The Miz will retain his title.

Kofi Kingston V.S. Drew Mcintrye for the Intercontinental Title- This is another one that I think could also open the show I think Kofi will take this one but it would not surprise me to see Drew win either, I also expect a run in from one Matt Hardy during this match.

Jack Swagger V.S. CM Punk V.S. Rey Mysterio V.S. The Big Show for the World Heavyweight Title- This one should be a solid match i know a lot of people think Swagger will retain this one and continue his run, but i don't I think this one will go to CM Punk.

John Cena V.S. Randy Orton V.S. Edge V.S. Sheamus for the WWE Title - This match has a lot of Star power in it really could go to anyone. I think Cena will overcome the odds once again and retain his WWE Title, but i would not be surprised to see Edge come away with it either.

The Hart Dynasty V.S. The Usos for the tag team titles - This one is being rumored to be announced for tonight's show, I'm going with The Harts here.

Here's Ziggy's Picks
Eve V.S. Gail Kim V.S. Maryse V.S. Alicia Fox for the Divas championship- Im not sure at all in this one I would hope that Maryse or Gail Kim would walk out with title but
WWE dont really care about there womens division so why should I.......

R-Truth V.S. The Miz(c) for the US Title- Don't understand Miz winning the belt back so soon after Killings won it from him Yeah it was almost a Month I just hoping Killings would have longer run but I will say that match from this past Monday with The Miz, R-Truth, John Morrison and Zack Ryder for United States Championship was one Hell of Good Match :
Winner: Miz

Kofi Kingston V.S. Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Title- I dont really care either way but I do think that Matt Hardy and Teddy Long may have something to do with the match....
winner: Kofi

Jack Swagger V.S. CM Punk V.S. Rey Mysterio V.S. The Big Show for the World Heavyweight Title- All week long I was thinking that Jack Swagger was going to keep this unthinkable title run alive but as i type this
Im thinking CM Punk or Rey Mysterio are going walk way with title.
Winner: CM Punk

John Cena V.S. Randy Orton V.S. Edge V.S. Sheamus for the WWE Title - I just don't see Cena keeping the belt here. If I had pick Winner I'm going to have go with Sheamus.

The Hart's V.S. The Usos for the tag team titles - The Harts.

Did WWE live up the the NXT angle hype?

Well last nights Raw WWE continued the NXT invasion angle. There was no other way to start out the show then with that. The NXT guys came out and all demanded contracts and proceeded to say if they didn't get them there will be even more hell to pay. The NXT guys generated a lot of heat from the crowd, WWE seemed to make them look weak being chased out of the ring by guys like Regal and Santino, of course this was not going to be the end of the NXT guys for the night.

Also who else noticed Bret's "WWF" fuck up? LOL gotta love live TV even my wife who use to watch wrestling picked that up right away lol.

One thing i didn't really care for is Michael Cole,King, and everyone around ringside running away like wimps whenever they came out. Cena came out and cut one hell of a promo in my opinion. Again this was another boring raw for the most part up untill the last 15 minuets, i love the feeling of not knowing where the NXT guys are or what there going to do next. Bret had the whole locker room come out and stand up on the ramp way during the main event, but he decided to go back? Also did anyone notice they never really wrote Triple H off TV? He just kind of left to film a movie.

10 minutes left in the show and the NXT guys strike again shoving Hart into a limo and ramping it back and forth into cars in the parking lot demanding contract, the whole locker room stood at the ramp way and watched....why? I guess WWE was trying to give the impression that ramming a limo into cars will give the guy massive whiplash? Either way i enjoyed the way the show ended rather then how it started, you couldn't see who was driving the limo and a lot of people will argue that Danielson was driving but i doubt it. Eventually i see this going into November if their smart and have raw locker room V.S. NXT rookies in an elimination match but there's only so much WWE can do with these guys this summer and i dont think there that creative to keep this angle going untill then and we may see it end come summerslam?

What did you guys think of the angle?

Also we'll be back with another show this week on Friday at 12:30pm, i had internet troubles on Monday and kept cutting out so me and the Zigman will be back Friday to talk more about this Angle.

TNA Slammiversary Prediction!

Hey everyone I figured I'd also do blog for PPV predictions and tonight we have the 8 year anniversary of TNA with their PPV Slammiversary. So here are my predictions.

1. Kurt Angle V.S. Frankie Kazarian - TNA announced earlier today that this will kick off the ppv, which i think is a GREAT choice these two should tear the house down. My pick is Kurt Angle and they'll continue with his climb up the championship ladder.

2. Brother Ray V.S Jesse Neal - This match is kind of a throw away match but i think i'll go with Jesse Neal and he'll continue to get a pusb.

3. Abyss V.S. Desmond Wolfe in a monsters ball match - This also should be a very good match Abyss is the master at the Monsters ball match, I'm going with Abyss in this on.

4. Madison Rayne V.S Roxxi for the TNA Knockouts Championship- TNA defintaly has the stronger Womens division in pro wreatling right now I'm becoming a real big Roxxi fan she seems to be getting a lot better and i think it's Roxxi's turn here and we'll get a new women's champion crowned.

5. Matt Morgan V.S. Hernandez - Battle of the former tag team partners I'd like Morgan to get the win in this one to further his singles career. Something tells me their gunna let Hernandez get the win, but this match should be a brutal one if thursday's impact was any indication of what we can expect.

6. Douglas Williams V.S. Brian Kendrick for the X-Division Championship - I think this is the match where we will see Kendirck get the win and get his push.

7. A.J Styles V.S. Jay Lethal - This match I feel could really steal the show, both guys have done great work lately, and A.J working with Ric only helps him even more. Thursday the portrayed A.J to be a leader and made him look really strong coming into tonights PPV. I'm going with A.J in this one.

8. Jeff Hardy & Mr.Anderson V.S. Beer Money Inc - This one i could see the a potential feud get set up between Hardy and Anderson and i'm picking Beer Money Inc here.

9. Rob Van Dam V.S. Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Title - This one should steal the show, Sting has been on a rampage lately but I'm pulling for RVD in this one tonight.

Here's Ziggy's picks

NXT Angle/Daniel Bryan "firing" Where does it go?

Welcome ladies and gents to the brand new Shotgun Radio Blog!!!

Well this week has been an interesting one in professional wrestling, that's for sure. Monday night's Raw was probably one of the most boring 2hrs and 55 minuets to watch. Then at the very end of the show WWE proves they can still pull out a legit wrestling angle! The NXT rookies from season 1 came down and beat down Cena and everyone else around ringside with the exception of Michael Cole. At one point Daniel Bryan chocked out ring announcer Justin Roberts, apparently WWE thought that was too far and decided to let Bryan Go.....The question now becomes is this whole thing a work or is it real? If it's real WWE just lost the BEST technical wrestler they have had since Chris Benoit (in my opnion) and they might as well let their programming go to a G rating instead of PG.

This has internet fans buzzing! If this is a work WWE is proving they still know what their doing and if all adds up it could lead to a big invasion at Survivor Series in November. I really want to believe this is a work otherwise why hasn't WWE gone and fired other NXT guys who went to the same extreme? The other guys kicked the sh*t out of John Cena and all of them looked strong! But you could say what they did was too violent..Also i'm under the impression that NXT guys do not exactly have contracts per say, but if you count their developmental deals as contracts then yes. Needless to say I can't remember being this excited about a WWE angle in a LONG time. So kudos to them, as long as they don't screw it up.

On to TNA's impact on thursday, I felt it was a very solid show from start to finish. It of course was their go home show to their big Slammiversary PPV tommorw. My favorite part of the night was Kurt Angle V.S. Amazing Red, this match was by far one of the best impact matches i have seen in a very long time! Angle looked amazing, it seems time off did him some good, he also did a great job for Amazing Red and made him look really good.

Anyone catch Jay Lethal's promo at the beginning of the show? His Ric Flair impression was spot on! I thought that was done VERY well. Interesting to see where TNA is going with Matt Morgan, looks like he will feud with Hernandez seeing as Hernanderz came out and pretty much kicked the crap out of Morgan allowing Eric Young to pin Morgan while he was on a stretcher and re-tain the TNA Tag Titles for "The Band"

The main event was an 8 man tag match featuring A.J. Styles, Desmonde Wolfe, and Beer Money Inc V.S. Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, Abyss, and Jay Lethal. All i can say about this match is I can't remember ever seeing that many finishes done in one match! It was good quick pace match and a good main event and it was a main event that actually had some time to work with!

As for the big PPV Dixie Carter has been promising something that will change the face of TNA...If Jim Ross did not re-sign with WWE then one would assume that he would be the big surprise. One name getting thrown around is Paul Hayman, now this would be a HUGE help for TNA but I would not considering it shocking..One name i brought up to Zigman was Shane McMahon yes I know he is working for his mom now but it's a thought to hang out there... From what I've been reading most fans are expecting to be let down with this surprise. I guess we'll see come Sunday.

I'll have more to say about Impact! on Monday during our show.

On to Smackdown! Now i'll admit i haven't watched all of it yet, but is it just me or are they making Kane looking like a monster?! This is some of the BEST promo work I've seen Kane do and to have him come out and beat the crap out of people during their matches is truly making him look like a monster. I would LOVE for the to bring back Paul Bearer and manage Kane to help find out who put The Undertaker out of action. Could this be a push for Kane to get a World Title run?

We'll have much more to say on Monday's show on Shotgun Radio!
