Well I hope you all had a wonderful holidays, I sure did but am also glad they are over and things can get back to normal. Now it's time for the weekend wrap up.
I thought Monday's Raw was very good. WWE needs to produce more shows like this weekly.
You gotta feel bad for John Morrison, just when you think he's getting a push they end it to early IMO. I wish they would of made him in the main event at the Royal Rumble.
I can't say I'm looking forward to another Miz VS Orton match, needless to say i do think Miz will win and be champion come Wrestlemania.
Anyone catch Smackdown! last night? Overall it was a very stacked show.
I'm happy to see Kofi Kingston got the IC title.
Wade Barrett on Smackdown is a good move, be interesting to see how he is used, I think Wade still has star potential.
Speaking of Barrett I LOVE the addition of CM Punk to The Nexus, I've always been a fan of Punk and think is makes a GREAT leader for them.
Smackdown! brand is coming to Cedar Rapids for a house show, I bought tickets for me and my brother-in-law, should be fun, Smackdown! has not done a house show here before.
TNA announced the X-Division championship match would open up the pay-per-view tomorrow, GREAT move, you need something to get the crowd into it and on track for the rest of the night.
There aren't a lot of matches on this pay-per-view I'm looking forward to, The main event should be decent, I'm hoping Anderson comes out on top, also looking forward to Jarrett/Angle. I think those two should be able to throw it down.
Otherwise this Pay-Per-View is just another show for me. I DO think we will see Matt Hardy debut OR Shane Helms debut to face RVD. TNA has always been good about keeping debut's a surprise.
If you guys haven't yet go pick up a copy of The WWE Championship book, I'm about 14 chapters into it right now and so far it's a GREAT read.
One thing I found interesting is how long title reigns were back in those days, I mean you would have guys have the belt for 3-4 years, I don't think thats possible in todays wrestling world. The closest we came to it was John Cena.
Kind of a shorter weekend wrap up this week. Be sure to check back tomorrow for our TNA pay per view picks.
