What's up everybody? Hope you all had a great week now it's time for another edition of the weekend wrap-up.
The cubs are on the verge of trading Ted Lilly to the dodgers, I say why stop there? Trade the whole damn team away.
My chiefs got all their draft picks signed! We've had a history of our first round picks holding out for contract issues, thankfully we got em done early!
College football is only 35 days away! I cant begin to describe how excited I am for football to start again!
For those who followed the show The Hills miss plastic herself Heidi filed for divorce from Mr. Fame whore Spencer...Bout time.
Ok now time for wrestling.
TNA impact was very solid this week I really enjoyed the opening promo with the ECW originals.
Anybody else not like the name EV.2?
Motor City Machine Guns and Beer Money Inc put on another classic this week. Can't wait for their next battle.
TNA's "free" pay per view card looks like it should be a nice one on paper.
TNA has had three former ECW champs turn down their Hardcore Justice show...Surely that's not what they wanted, but I'm sure they'll get Sabu for the big show and most likely Sandman.
WWE Smackdown! is kind of loosing interest from me, the show really lacks something.
So far only three matches are set for Summerslam I always look forward to this event, one of the big 4 pay per views I order every year.
Their women's division is REALLY hurting right now with Beth Phenoix and Melina out right now, thankfully for them Melina is on her way back.
I'm really enjoying the way their teasing The Miz cashing in his money in the bank case each week.
The mystery gm is still a fun gimmick, I enjoy this a lot more then the guest host concept.
I still think Triple H is behind the Nexus group.
NXT is getting down to some good talent, I think Lucky could be sent home next he hasn't grown on me at all. Husky is moving up on my leader board with Kaval moving into the No 1 spot on my list.
Macho Man Randy Savage reached a deal with Matel to create a few action figures for him...I won't be surprised if he gets the hall of fame nod next year.
That'll do it for another edition of The Weekend Wrap Up!

What happened to the state of Women's Wrestling?
Over the past few years the state of women's wrestling in both WWE and TNA have gone down hill. On one hand it's one of the highest rated segment's on impact however they only average a 5 minuet match at best! WWE is even worse every time a Diva's match comes on the crowd goes DEAD silent. Thankfully they only have to sit through it for 2-3 minuets tops.
It's hard for us fans to get excited over women's wrestling when it's clearly obvious WWE or TNA does not care anymore. For the most part their matches are to fill time and are rarely meaningful, matches even pay per view matches don't mean sh*t. It amazes me to see/hear the crowd just sit there and not make one single POP. I would think it would be hard for the diva's themselves to get into their own matches when that's the crowd reaction they get.
Since Trish and Lita both left WWE the diva's division has never been the same. These two set the bar for women's wrestling and had the crowd behind their matches. They were great story tellers as well as good on the mic as well. Even Victoria help set the bar, her feuds with Trish were some of the best diva's matches i've ever seen. Trish also helped elevate Mickie James to be a great diva's wrestler. Gail Kim is another name that's a great worked but WWE would rather use her more as an actual Diva instead of a worker.
It really is a shame for any independent women's wrestler who wants to make it to the big time when they see WWE and TNA don't put an effort into women's wrestling.
If WWE and TNA would put time into their women's division's fans would care but seeing as they don't i shall continue to flip the channel and bash both divisions.

From the Real World to the WWE: He's The Miz and He's AWESOME!
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmeCc2VrgDy6zGoZlvCsX_uC9P0OYJOUfO3ZGI0SQ3pS0JKguYKSnk06rowDUa-mWHSFnPAtf_iqBPRLVlhw_z-DhLjFX9_QP17APPuMCCopciayRvJlBoEbT3MzIPRbiDQNIvEDCnJ1Dh/s400/RAW_859_Photo_058.jpg)
A few months ago if you would of asked me would I ever write a blog praising The Miz and his work ethic? I would of laughed in your face. Over the past few months this guy is starting to win me over. I know this blog will make my co-host cringe and he may just stop reading after this part lol.
If there's someone that truly wants to be in the WWE and will do whatever it takes The Miz is your guy. He's always out and about doing promotional apperances for the company, getting yelled at by dumb fans and all sorts of other stuff.
When i saw this kid on the real world back in the day I never thought he was going to be a pro wrestler. What amazes me is he is using the character he created years ago even before he went on the real world. Not very many guys in the business come up with their own character and it actually works and they can market it. Kudos to The Miz and WWE for letting him roll with it.
The crowd may hate him but they still can't help but copy him when he says "I'm The Miz and I'm AWESOME!" He cuts one hell of a promo although i think he needs a lil better in ring work i still think he's coming along.
It never hurts when your starting to win over the boss...Recent reports are showing that Vince is growing very fond of The Miz the way he did with John Cena. If you can win over the boss I think your here to stay.
Yesterday Ziggy said Miz will be the first to cash in and NOT win the title...I beg to differ. I could see a face change for Miz coming to win the belt from Sheamus at Summerslam after his match with Orton..
Beacuse he's The Miz and He's AWESOME!!!

Chewy's Weekend Wrap Up: Talking Summerslam, ECW/TNA, Lindsay Lohan
What's up everyone?! Hope you all had a good week, It's time for another weekend wrap-up blog. So here we go
Lindsay Lohan is spending the next 90 aka 23 days in Jail....whore needs to serve the full term damn justice system.
The cubs took two from the Cards! Never thought that'd happen hopefully they can get the sweep.
Listened to an early version of the new Avenged Sevenfold album it is SUPER kick A$$. One album I will buy Tuesday when it comes out.
Mel Gibson is still one crazy mofo.
Ok now time for wrestling
Money In The Bank was a solid PPV by WWE nice job guys!
Kane as World Champion?! REALLY?! What happened to the Youth Movement!?
The Miz is REALLY growing on me, I remember watching him on The Real World when he introduced his Miz character truly amazing to see him grow.
Bret Hart got married today, Congrats hitman!
Shawn Michaels celebrated his 45th birthday this past week,at 45 years old he was one of the BEST performers in the business and will always be missed.
Summerslam is shaping up very nicely i ALWAYS look forward to this show.
TNA is bringing ECW back again!!! WHY?!
I hope TNA knows that Vince Owns the right to ECW and it's name....Why do they encourage the fans to not only chant that name BUT bring signs to the impact zone and show them on camera more then once?!
Does it piss anyone else off that guys like AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and Soma Joe will most likely take a back seat at the "Harcore Justice" PPV? Not to mention the younger guys that won't get a payday because of it?!
TNA should be using this PPV to help push THEIR talent and not guys they're bringing in for one night only.
This whole "invasion" thing doesn't sit right with me if you can tell.
The one bright side to impact has been Motor City Machine Guns V.S Beer Money series. These guys are AMAZING!
Tyler Black retained his ROH title tonight in Chicago! Dude is AMAZING!
Mike Sydal was injured during a dark match, hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

WWE's Summerslam 2010 shaping up nicely!
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7L9Z8tFX1t0UXjcNPWZhQKF-kDFlY5O9pF0EUr7_Bvhj5vKgd2qsUr8vzIgcK5_i7MsMNVi2tj3dZYsssVLY0DCP-V0yilGmwuNSIhrHa5zUTADLNh4hiGCouxkm9tYfi9eWW36iI0LYd/s400/SummerSlam_2010.jpg)
WOW what a Monday Night Raw they had last night! Very solid show from top to bottom! See what you can do WWE when you DON'T have a guest host to worry about?!
The show kicked off with a huge triple threat match between Orton, Jericho, and Edge to determine who would face WWE champion sheamus at Summerslam. Match was a great way to kick off the show instead of making us wait until the end. Good solid match by all three guys with no real surprise here Orton coming out on top and getting the No 1 contender spot. After the match they almost made you feel they were starting another feud between Edge and Jericho which would have made for a nice Summerslam match but both were destroyed by The Nexus.
Wade Barett is a true blue chipper. This guy is growing on me as being a GREAT heal and should be for years to come. He's leadership ability with The Nexus and his mic work are both amazing. I truly hope when Hunter comes back he's revealed to be behind The Nexus attacks and goes to being a heel he could really help these guys out even more with his presence.
I really enjoyed the way they teased The Miz "cashing" in his Money In The Bank contract last night he really could of had Sheamus beat. I think The Miz will be a future WWE champion. Word backstsage is he has REALLY won Vince over similar to how John Cena did when he was getting a push. I was really hoping Miz was cashing in for real last night it was a great segment.
I'm huge on Evan Bourne right now, dude is amazing and I think management is finally starting to notice that the crowd is really behind him. He worked a good match with Sheamus last night.
The ending of Raw was the best teasing Cena to join The Nexus only for Cena to say stuff it and issue a challenge of his own for Summerslam with his team consisting of Edge,Jericho(i guess we can forget that match happening at SS), John Morrison, R-Truth, Great Kalhi, and the return of BRET HART!! This is a great match for Bret as he can't really do anything at his age so this will be good for him. I like this tag match for Summerslam i just hope they make it elimination style match.
So far for summer slam we have
Cenas Team V.S The Nexus
Randy Orton V.S. Sheamus for the WWE Title
I'm sure Smackdown! will kick off their run to summerslam at tonight's taping!

DVD Review: The Hart Family Anthology!
What's up everybody! I'm trying something new here and that's DVD Reviews! I will try and do at least one a month maybe more but well see. The first DVD is
WWE Hart and Soul: The Hart Family Anthology 3 Disc set.
Disc 1 is a nice long documentary including interviews from various Hart family members. The documentary spans over the whole family including the late great Owen Hart. This documentary was done very nicely. I always love DVD's that include a documentary. It was nice to see different Hart brothers and sisters get interviewed here. There really isn't much that they don't cover here in this documentary they cover everything from their mom and dad to the family feud.
The special features on this disc are also very stacked and cover a wide range. They talk about Owen always being the prankster, will defiantly bring a smile to your face. Also shows Bret's return to WWE and the after raw celebration with the Bret and The Hart Dynasty on Jan 4th.
Disc 2- The matches on this one are great going all the way back to the stampead days with Bret,Keith, and Bruce teaming together all the way to Royal Rumble 1994 with Bret and Owen teaming together. In between the matches it is hosted by The Hart Dynasty talking about the family before each match. Overall great set of matches were selected on this disc.
Disc 3- This one kicks off right away with Bret V.S. Owen! some of the best matches I've watched this is classic wrestling at it's finest! This disc continues through their feud and on to the reformation of The Hart Foundation and finally ending with The Hart Dynasty V.S. D-X. This is the better disc out of the second one as far as matches go. I would highly recommend this to any fan of Bret Hart or The Hart Family.
Overall: 8 out of 10

WWE Money In The Bank PPV Picks!
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj95qpXi6UvAJSXhjvHyz5XFrX894LoCKbTuqvxrZdX6YAlW5vIN4_YCj5__4Ak8hTBq3r0MGSY9RTxUecjGw3g1M4syDbiVefn64HNY7H_0ajhVao7Uw1ajiH67My-EfXIogzqqK5yIYY1/s400/189678_lg.jpg)
Tonight's yet another PPV and once again here's our picks.
Sheamus V.S. John Cena for the WWE Title in a steel cage match- This match can go either way, I do think we will still get some interference from the Nexus gang on this one to continue their feud with John Cena. Something tells me Cena will over come the odds and win the belt back...but it wouldn't surprise me to see Sheamus win and have Cena continue his feud with Nexus either.- My pick - Cena
Randy Orton V.S. Edge V.S. Mark Henry V.S. Chris Jericho V.S. Ted DiBiasie V.S. The Miz V.S. Evan Bourne V.S. John Morrision - This money in the bank is STACKED I think Morrision and Bourne could come up with some sick spots in this match, i'm looking forward to this match over the other one. I would love for WWE to pull a wild card and let Bourne win this match but My pick goes to- Orton
Drew McIntyre vs. Big Show vs. Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Christian vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler - This match I'm not as excited for. I think Kane has been in just about every money in the bank match around but i dont see him winning. My pick goes to - Big Show
Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship - This feud has been set up rather nicely by WWE. I don't see it ending here tonight. My pick is going to- Rey Mysterio
The Hart Dynasty vs. Jimmy and Jey Uso for the Unified Tag Team Championships: WWE could go either way on this one. The Hart Dynasty are really over right now. I see The Uso's finally getting their gold tonight.
Alicia Fox vs. Eve for the Divas Championship: If you've read my blogs you know I don't really care for woman's wrestling anymore it's not what it use to be by any means. This match will get 5 minuets tops. My pick: Alicia Fox
Layla vs. Kelly Kelly for the Woman's Championship: Ugh TWO diva's matches?! God help me! My pick: Layla
Ziggy's Picks
WWE Champion Sheamus vs. John Cena (Steel Cage Match)
Zigman's Pick: Sheamus
World Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger
Zigman's Pick: Jack Swagger
Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match - Randy Orton, John Morrison, Evan Bourne,
United States Champion The Miz, Ted DiBiase, Chris Jericho, Mark Henry (who replaces the Miz-injured R-Truth) and Edge
Zigman's Pick: Ted DiBiase
SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Big Show, Matt Hardy and Christian, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes,
Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, Kane.
Zigman's Pick: Kofi Kingston
Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso
Zigman's Pick: The Hart Dynasty
Divas Champion Alicia Fox vs. Eve
Zigman's Pick: Eve
Women's Champion Layla vs. Kelly Kelly
Zigman's Pick: Layla

Who else already doesn't like this Albert Del Rio character their getting set to debut on Smackdown!
Money In The Bank is shaping up to be a decent show on paper, i'm looking forward to watching this online sunday.
If you enjoy more wrestling then drama Smackdown! is the show for you, they had great matches this week.
How awesome is Percy Watson?! He's really growing on me.
WWE announced they will continue on with the guest hosts.....who else cried when they heard this?
Big Show makes a pretty decent face his promo work is pretty funny.
I was thinking about calling WWE and asking to host NXT, Matt Stryker is more and more annoying by the week i can't STAND him!
What's happened to the women's division in both TNA and WWE?! Are they just lil fillers they feel they need to use?! Both are HORRIBLE!
Victory Road this past week was a solid ppv good work TNA.
TNA WHY are you re-creating ECW?! It died 10 years ago!!!! Leave it be!!!
Motor City Machine Guns and Beer Money Inc are two of the BEST tag teams in this industry today! Other teams need to watch their matches!
I think TNA could use a guy like Tyler Black dude has amazing talent!! If you haven't yet check out our interview we did with him this past week over on our blogtalk site!!! Interview starts about 20 minuets into the show!
Well that'll do it for this week! We'll be back tommorw with our picks for Money In The Bank!

Is TNA Trying to capitalize on the nexus invasion with on of their own!?
Over the past few weeks TNA has been teasing this ECW invasion, showing Dreamer,Raven,Richards, and Rhino in the crowd and last night it all came ahead. The huge "ECW" invasion we've been hearing about.
It was an entertaining brawl that's for sure, but ECW died about 10 years ago and can never be brought back. It should of ended with the first One Night stand PPV that WWE did to give it one final farwell. Hell even the 2nd One Night Stand PPV was good, but it should of never been brought back in the first place.
I'm very interested to see how TNA pulls this off the ending of the invasion was nice ending it with Dixie saying she invited them. Word around the web is Tommy Dreamer is helping write most of this storyline, which could be the only good thing about it.
With all that said, since WWE's Nexus invasion is soo hot right now it makes me wonder if TNA decided to counter that with an invasion of their own hoping to generate some of the older ECW fans towards TNA. It sure seems that's the case right now is that TNA is trying an invasion of their own, they teased it all week online with their pictures from the invasion.
I'm not 100% sure if doing yet another ECW angle is a good thing personally i've grown tired of it. I am fans of all the guys involved but they sure make it feel like they can't get out of the past and have to keep going back to it.
It's nice to see the guys getting work but TNA please stop with the ECW crap and use your own young talent!!TNA has a million guys on their roster that we never see, why not use them?! Hopefully for TNA's sake this invasion works and it gets them better ratings, but for now they will continue to get 1.0 or 1.1 in the ratings. I guess we'll have to see where this goes.

Our 2nd NXT Rankings
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO9AfvDqHQZdYWmVZ1qKLKaWsT_1qH8c6p7W_6co82ibbDQZ4o7dIhutC0Un-C-Qo6Dkn9Wg9rlA3nTGBhRwYLP3xP2CvJzHwJZ4MrqzpeiK6gh_shRmxgJ0r2SEWFTylnJL4fMIZ9ags/s1600/wwe-nxt.png)
What's up everybody! Tonight is the 2nd rankings for season 2 of NXT and someone will go home/back to FCW tonight. Here are our 2nd rankings.
1. Alexy Riley - I was surprised to see him not in this position last week. He still seems to me to have the "it" factor. I'm staying solid with my no 1.
2. Kaval - He hasn't won many matches but his experience proves he's ready for a main roster. I can't wait to see him wrestle Mysterio somewhere down the line.
3. Percy Watson - He moves up a spot for me. I think this gunna is funny as hell on the mic, he is also very fun to watch in the ring.
4. Michael McGillicutty - He moves down a spot for me but i still think we'll see this kid on a main roster when this is all said and done.
5. Lucky Cannon - He still stayed the same with me I felt his promo work was pretty well and he does great in the ring.
6.Husky Harris - He moves up for me, i thought his promo work was funnier then shit. He can move around pretty well in the ring too. I think he'd fit in nicely on the Smackdown! brand.
7. Eli-Cottonwood - I see him going home tonight, his promo skills are still kind of week. I think they need to repackage him and have him be the next generation Kane or even their version of Abyss.
Ziggy's Picks
1. Kaval
2. Michael McGillicutty
3. Percy Watson
4. Alex Riley
5. Husky Harris
6. Lucky Cannon
7. Eli Cottonwood

TNA Victory Road Predictions!
Douglas Williams V.S. Brian Kendrick for the X-Division title- My pick is going with Kendrick on this one. He is long overdue for a push.
The Motor City Machine Guns V.S. Beer Money Inc- I'm really pulling for the Motor City Machine Guns on this match to win the tag titles but i don't see the feud ending anytime soon.
Matt Morgan V.S. Hernandez - This match really means nothing to me this feud has gone on a lil to long and TNA dropped the ball on this one. Anyway my pick goes to Morgan.
Ric Flair V.S. Jay Lethal - TNA should of really hyped up Flair's in ring return more..I mean he's still Ric fn Flair! I think they'd get more buys if they hyped his return more. I'm going with Lethal on this one, to help push him.
Madision Rayne V.S. Angeelina Love in a title V.S. career match - I dont see this going either way, i'm going with a quick no contest in this one.
Brother Devon V.S. Brother Ray V.S. Jesse Neal - What is the point of this one?! (sorry i haven't been paying much attention to TNA and when i do i fast forward this feud) I see this one going to Neal.
A.J Stles & Kazarian V.S. TBA - Well this one is a bit tough opne since we don't know the opponents. I'm going with A.J. and Kaz here so they join the Fortune.
Rob Van Dam V.S. Mr.Anderson V.S. Jeff Hardy V.S. Abyss- I see this going two ways here one way i see them going with RVD and continue on with his title reign and the other I could see going to Abyss.. The Abyss angle i see has a 20% chance of going down. I have a feeling they'll have Hogan come out and cost Abyss the match in someway and RVD retaining his title.
Here's Ziggy's picks
-Rob Van Dam vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Abyss for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship:
I'm really hoping that Mr. Anderson walks away from this one as champion but I could see Dreamer, Raven, Richards, and Rhino having something to do with this one which of course you think that would help Abyss and
I know when RVD won belt from AJ Styles there was talk of him keeping world title until Bound For Glory. So i will have to pick RVD in this one.....
Zigman's Pick: Rob Van Dam
-Ric Flair vs. Jay Lethal: The Flair/Lethal promo on Thursday Impact was really done well and made me want to see this match more....I'm going to have to go out on limb here and
say Jay Lethal picks up victory in this one...
Zigman's Pick: Jay Lethal
-The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money for the vacant TNA Tag Team Championships: I cant wait for this one....2 of best tag teams in pro wrestling today!..... Im thinking that Motor City will finally win TNA Tag Team Titles ......
Zigman's Pick: MCMG
-Kurt Angle vs. D'Angelo Dinero: This should be good match but I dont really think Pope needs to be losing matches right now and you know that Angle going win because he said that he will retire if he loses.
Zigman's Pick: Kurt Angle
-Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love in a Knockouts Championship vs. Career match:
I don't understand why Angelina would agree to put her career on the line since she already had title match......then they add in if Lacey Von Erich or Velvet Sky interfered in the match,
Madison would be disqualified and Angelina would become the new champion...WoW way to much Bull Shit to go with match.....I'm guessing that Angelina Love wins after Velvet Sky run in during match......
Zigman's Pick: Angelina Love
-Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez in a steel cage match: I really hope this is ending to this Feud......I would think that it would be time for Hernandez to get win......
Zigman's Pick: Hernandez
-Douglas Williams vs. Kendrick in an Ultimate X match for the TNA X Division Championship: I am really hoping Kendrick gets X title but I can also see Williams retaining belt also....
Zigman's Pick: Douglas Williams
-Kazarian and A.J. Styles vs. two mystery opponents: I've heard lots of names being tossed around as who there opponents are going to be........(Christopher Daniels, Matt Bentley, Shane Helms) I think Mystery Team will pick up Victory here and Styles vs KAz will
happen at next months Hard Justice PPV......
Zigman's Pick: Mystery Team
-Brother Devon vs. Jesse Neal vs. Brother Ray: I don't really care about this one......but i see Bubba and Devon get on the same page.....
Zigman's Pick: Bubba Ray
Chewy's Weekend Wrap-Up: Talking Lebron/NWO,UFC 116, The Bachalorette, No More Guest Host?! and More!
What's up everyone! Hope you all had a great week! Now it's time for my weekly Weekend Wrap-Up Blog today were talking Lebron(yes i know everyone is tired of him),The Bachalorette(Yes i said bachalorette!),UFC 116 and of course WWE/TNA Let's get started shall we?!
Lebron leaves Cleveland(aka WCW) for Miami(aka NWO)- Now when you look at the story it's very similar to WCW's NWO angle. Bosh and Wade joined together in Miami first and then a few days later Lebron joined the...Looks very much like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfDRFCb1dCQ Also the way the Cleveland fans acted reminds me of WCW fans. Here's a video of Cleveland fans http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z76wA9CMQo0&feature=popular
Did anyone else get sucked into watching the bachelorette Monday night? I may loose my man card for this one but the wife and I watched Jake and Vienna play the he said she said game..WWE and TNA should of taken notes that shit was funny as hell!
New Music- Blink-182 announce their album should be out by next spring/summer super excited on this also looking forward to Avenged Sevendfold's, Limp Bizkit, and Disturbed's new albums this summer
The cubs had a 4 game win streak this week!? Holy hell batman!
UFC 116 was a HUGE success congrats to Dana White and the UFC. Also a HUGE come from behind win by one Brock Lesnar. Sounds like his next fight is Oct 23rd. Hopefully that card is as stacked as UFC 116 was. GREAT night of fights!
I have a solution for the BP Oil Spill- Get Brock Lesnar to lay down his chock hold on it! Bam mission solved!!
Ok now time for wrestling!
No more guest host?!- It appears WWE may be doing away with this concept as they have a mystery gm and the nexus angle going on right now..Only one guest host is scheduled for the next few weeks.Personally raw is a lot more fun to watch these days.
The Nexus- Still a GREAT angle Wade Barett is the centerfold of that group and he is truly a star in the making! I love having something to look forward to every week on raw now. Also does anyone else feel it is a younger version of the NWO?
Why short matches?- I know both WWE and TNA are guilty of this but TNA more so. WWE at least gives their main even 10-15 min...TNA gives 5-7 tops...I understand short diva's matches...Did anyone see the one this past week? The crowd was sooooooo bored.
I've been watching some older Summerslam's lately from the early 1990's and their product back then is similar but yet different then what they're doing now.
Dashing Cody Rhodes? REALLY?! Dashing!?
Mystery GM Guesses- Forget Stone Cold Steve Austin right now! Yes they teased it but watch this week they'll tease The Rock. I still say it could be Bryan Danielson to set up his return or even Triple H.
Ric Flair is set to make is in ring return to this Sunday's PPV does anyone else feel TNA should be making this more special then they are? I mean it's Ric fn Flair!!! Way to drop the ball on that one TNA!!!
Paul Hayman has been in talks with TNA and told them what he wants from them, sounds like they aren't willing to budge...Another ball dropped...
Whatever happened to Dixie's promised changed to TNA?
TNA ratings continue to stay the same at 1.0 and I'm sure they'll blame Lebron for what should be low ratings this past week.
WWE rating continue to pull solid number, the nexus angle is one of the best thing's they've done in years!!
Well that wraps up another weekly edition of the Weekend Wrap-up! We'll be back tommorw with our picks for TNA's Victory Road PPV and Our new NXT rankings!
Is Brock Lesnar really the best heavyweight in MMA?
Is Brock Lesnar really the best heavyweight fighter in all of MMA right now? After Fedor's surprising loss last Saturday and Brock's somewhat surprising win (which he also received submission of the night award for) Some would defiantly say say Brock is the best in the land right now.
The latest rankings have Brock Lesnar at 1 and Shane Carwin at 2 which it should be. Junior Dos Santos is at No 3 at No 4 Fabrico Werdum and at No 5 is Fedor Emelianenko.
Fedor took a huge dive in the rankings which is understandable considering it was his first legit loss and for whatever reason he doesn't want to go to the UFC where the best heavyeweights in the world are at. Hopefully with this loss he'll come to UFC cause if he does he'll pretty much be a shoe-in for an automatic title shot.
Brock's next fight is set to be No 6 ranked Cain Velasquez who will without a doubt be seen as the underdog in this fight which is as of now being rumored for UFC 119 in September. I think Cain can learn a lot from that Lesnar/Carwin fight. Lesnar got rattled in the first around and if it would have been any other ref we would of seen it stopped in the first round. Overall i thought Brock had a much better second round and thankfully he survied the first round. I was very surprised to hear Brock won by submission as he isn't typically a sibmission guy.
Were starting a new poll on our wrestling blog here and this weeks poll is Who Should Be The Top Heavyweight Fighter in MMA? Go ahead and vote.

Chewy's Weekend Wrap-Up: Talking UFC,Chicago Sports,WWE,NBA Free Agency.
What's up everyone! Hope your having a wonderful fourth of July weekend! I'm starting a new weekly feature here on our blog site talking about pretty much anything and everything so here goes..
UFC 116 - Tonight we will crown a new top heavyweight in MMA. Lesnar V.S. Carwin is one of if not the biggest fight in MMA history. My pick goes to Lesnar, he's lighter, faster, stronger and has been training with some good people.
Strikeforce- Last weekend the ultimate heavyweight Fedor lost in the first round via tap out. He was not very impressive on this fight, I watched his fight last November against Brett Rogers on CBS and he looked much better in that fight. Now he needs to swallow his pride and go to UFC.
Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and Lebron James are three of the hottest free agents in ther NBA right now, I think one most likely two will land with Chicago and start a Dynasty there.
The Cubs are 11-20 since May.....has anyone watched a full game since May? I know i haven't.
NFL training camps start at the end of the month who else is excited?!
Bret Farve started throwing to high school wide receivers usually means he's ready to come back.
Ok now time for wrestling
The Nexus have been running all over everyone in the WWE including Mr.McMahon and are the hottest wrestling stable in wrestling today...TNA needs to take notes.
Raw has become a lot of fun to start watching again. Hopefully the creative team will keep it up. Ratings are starting to improve they should really keep going the way they're going.
Has anyone else not missed a guest host? Sure last week they had Rob Zombie but he was on for a total of what 15 minuets?
Hopefully Ricky Steamboat get's well soon. You should all go pick up his new DVD it looks awesome, i plan on picking this one up.
If any of you go to an independent show where Bryan Danielson is wrestling be sure to go to a goodwill and buy some cheap ties to throw them in the ring, I sure would if i were going to watch him.
Do we really have to watch Ric Flair wrestle again? He's on the Victory Road PPV but TNA isn't hyping his in ring return at all...Another fail by them.
TNA seems to be hyping Hogan V.S. Abyss....Smart move? I think not the hulkstir just went under back surgery. I really think he should stop wrestling.
WWE seems to be biting the injury bug again with CM Punk being out but also Wade Barett and Drew McIntyre are both out due to work visa issues.
Titus O'Neal was eliminated from NXT anyone else not surprised?
I'm more surprised to see Kaval rated No.1 overall and Alex Riley being ranked 4th. Ziggy and I both had Riley at 1. Hopefully Kaval doesn't turn into this season's Bryan Danielson.
Oh also The Undertaker and Michelle McCool got married last week, there's at least a 10 year age difference between the two...But at least Michelle's job is safe.. Regardless congrats to the both of them.
That's it for this weeks edition of the weekend wrap-up. Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July.
